Anticyclone and Meander Crest Events
Four events showing strong anticyclones together with steep meander crests. The intense anticyclone in Event III is actually associated with a broad crest (confirmed by AVHRR), of which only a small portion is captured in the mapping region. Following the crests and deep anticyclones in Events I and II are trailing troughs and deep cyclones.
