Event Description:

A deep anticyclone and meander crest enter the array on March 19th and a deep cyclone and trough exit eastward. The crest and anticyclone exhibit little growth as they rapidly transit the region. The center of the deep anticyclone is located just south of the center of the meander crest, and there is no downstream phase offset. The deep currents are aligned with the upper baroclinic front in a characteristically equivalent barotropic fashion. On March 27th, the following trough and cyclone enter the region.
