IES/PIES/CPIES Shipping Information |
An IES is shipped in a HAZMAT sealed polyethelene barrel (80 cm diameter x 100 cm high).
The transportation of IES instruments containing lithium battery packs within, into or from the United States is classified as a Class 9 Hazardous material shipment and is subject to rules as outlined by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the United Nations.
