Topographic Steering
	As mentioned, one of the largest sources of NHRC transport enhancements arises from topographic steering of the upper ocean flow by the lowest layer flow. Examination of upper ocean transport stream function from linear and non-linear simulations (figure 5, shown here) reveal a ridge in the incoming flow and a subsequent enhancement in the NHRC transport (see table 2).
